In mathematics, concatenation is the joining of two numbers by their numerals. That is, the concatenation of  123  and  456  is  123456.
Concatenation of numbers  A  and  B  is denoted  A || B.
And concatenation of numbers  A,  B,  and  C is  A || B || C,  and so forth.

Rule:  to find English words that are the concatenation of two words and a string of three letters

The string of three letters is any consonant  +  st :

bst,   cst,   dst,   fst,   gst,   …

For example,

Bandstand   =   Ban || dst || and

Ban  is an English word.
